Electronic stamps and company seals, made online

Replace the rubber stamp and the ink pad. Design a company seal, an official seal or an approval stamp in the browser, then put it on any document as a transparent image, a vector, or a Word file that keeps the date and serial as text you can retype. Free to design, with no account to start.

What you can make

How to stamp a document online

  1. Design the seal: Pick a shape and a template, set the ring text and the centre lines, choose the ink colour, and drop in a logo or an emblem. The preview updates as you type.
  2. Add the date, time or serial: Add a date line, a time line or a serial line. Left empty, each one fills itself in when the stamp is used rather than showing the day you designed it.
  3. Download it and place it: Take the transparent PNG for documents, the SVG or PDF for print, or the Word file that keeps the date and serial as text you can retype. Then put it on the page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a company stamp to a document online?

Design the stamp in the maker, download it as a transparent PNG, and place it on the page in whatever you already use: a PDF editor, Word, Google Docs, or a design tool. Because the background is transparent rather than white, the seal sits over the text instead of covering it with a box. For Word there is a dedicated download that floats over the text rather than pushing it down the page.

Is a digital company seal legally valid?

In most jurisdictions a contract is valid on signature alone, and the seal is evidentiary rather than mandatory. But in many markets, Kenya, Nigeria, India, the UAE and China among them, a company seal or chop is expected on commercial contracts, and a document without one gets sent back. A digital seal carries the same visual authority on the page as an inked one, and the two are indistinguishable to the reader once the document is a PDF.

What can a digital stamp do that a rubber stamp cannot?

Three things. It is ready in minutes rather than days. It is editable, so a changed address or registration number costs nothing instead of a new die. And it can carry a date and a time that fill themselves in, which a rubber stamp cannot do at all and a self-inking date stamp only does if somebody remembers to turn the bands each morning.

What can a rubber stamp do that a digital one cannot?

Stamp paper you are physically holding. That is a real advantage and worth being straight about: if your documents arrive on paper and leave on paper, a self-inking block is faster and this is a detour. The case for a digital stamp is documents that are already files, where printing a page purely so it can be stamped and scanned back in is the only reason the printer is involved.

Can I put serial numbers on my stamps?

Yes. Save the stamp to your library and it gets its own serial counter. Put a serial placeholder on any line, tick "Number this one" when you download, and that file takes the next number in the sequence. The counter is incremented under a row lock on the stamp’s own record, so two tabs, two devices or two people on the same account can never be handed the same number. Left switched off, downloads show a 0001 sample instead, so comparing formats does not burn numbers out of a real sequence.

Is the stamp maker free?

Designing is free, with no account: pick a template, set the wording, shape, colour, logo and size, and watch it preview live for as long as you like. Downloading the file is the paid part, $1.50 for one format or $4 for all of them zipped, or included on a plan. Editing the design later never costs again.

Can I stamp a PDF here?

Not directly, and it is worth being clear about that rather than implying otherwise. This site makes the stamp; placing it on a page is done wherever you already work. Download the transparent PNG or the SVG and drop it into your PDF editor, Word or Google Docs. Because the background is transparent rather than white, the seal sits over the text instead of covering it with a box.
