Stampdy describes itself as a free online stamp maker for custom rubber stamps, company seals and logos with downloads in SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF, EPS and DOCX, and no design skills required.
When Stampdy is the better choice
- EPS export, which this tool does not offer. If your printer has asked specifically for EPS, that is a real reason to use them.
- A clean, fast editor aimed squarely at people who want one stamp and no learning curve.
What Estamplab does that Stampdy does not claim to
- An auto-filling date and time, so the stamp records when it was applied rather than when it was designed.
- Row-locked serial numbering on a saved stamp, for numbered impressions that have to be traceable.
- A Word export that keeps the date and serial as editable text, not a picture.
- A published refund policy that says exactly when you get your money back.
The four things that actually separate them
- A date and time that fills itself in at the moment the stamp is used, not the date you designed it. A received stamp is only evidence of anything if the date on it is the day the document arrived.
- Serial numbers that increment under a database row lock on the stamp’s own record, so two tabs, two devices or two people on one account cannot be handed the same number.
- A Word download where the date and the serial stay as text you can retype, rather than a flat picture of a stamp.
- Pay once per stamp, $1.50 for one format or $4 for every format zipped. No subscription to cancel and no credit pack to top up.
