Stampforger describes itself as a free online stamp maker with no signup and no watermark, for approval, received, paid, confidential, date and fully custom business stamps, exporting high-resolution transparent PNG and SVG.
When Stampforger is the better choice
- Genuinely free downloads with no signup and no watermark. If you need one stamp once and nothing more, that is the shorter path and we will say so.
- No account means nothing to delete afterwards.
What Estamplab does that Stampforger does not claim to
- A date and time that fill themselves in at the moment of use. A "date stamp" that bakes in the day you designed it is a picture of a date, not a date stamp.
- Serial numbering that survives across devices, because the counter lives on the server rather than in one browser.
- PDF and Word exports alongside PNG and SVG, with the Word version keeping text editable.
- A saved library, so next quarter you reopen the stamp instead of rebuilding it from memory.
The four things that actually separate them
- A date and time that fills itself in at the moment the stamp is used, not the date you designed it. A received stamp is only evidence of anything if the date on it is the day the document arrived.
- Serial numbers that increment under a database row lock on the stamp’s own record, so two tabs, two devices or two people on one account cannot be handed the same number.
- A Word download where the date and the serial stay as text you can retype, rather than a flat picture of a stamp.
- Pay once per stamp, $1.50 for one format or $4 for every format zipped. No subscription to cancel and no credit pack to top up.
