Is the preview watermarked?
No. Some tools in this category put a diagonal watermark across the preview so you cannot screenshot it. The preview here is the real rendering at full size, because a stamp you cannot see properly is a stamp you cannot judge.
What exactly costs money?
Only the downloaded file. $1.50 for a single format, $4.00 for the full pack. Everything before that point, including designing ten versions and discarding nine, is free.
Is there a free download at all?
