A company chop is the official stamp of a company, and the word is the one used in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and much of South East Asia for what elsewhere is called a company seal. In mainland China it carries real legal weight: the chop, not a signature, is conventionally what binds the company, and whoever physically controls it controls what the company is committed to.

Chop, seal and stamp are one object with three names
Which word is correct depends entirely on where the document is going, not on what the object is. A Singaporean company has a company chop; the same ring of text filed in London is a company seal; the everyday version used on invoices in either place is a company stamp. Where it genuinely differs is custody: in a jurisdiction where the chop binds the company, who holds it is a governance question rather than an office supplies question, and companies there keep it in a safe with a log.

Is a digital chop accepted?
It depends on the recipient and the document, and the honest answer is to ask them. Many routine commercial documents take a placed image without difficulty; filings and bank instructions frequently do not. This is a design tool, not a ruling on what your registry will accept.
Does it have to be red?
In mainland China and Taiwan red is the strong convention and a chop in another colour looks wrong. In Singapore and Malaysia blue and black are ordinary. Elsewhere red can read as claiming an official status the mark does not have.
