Why it runs in the browser rather than on a server
Because the wording on a company stamp is the registered name, the registration number and sometimes the address, and there is no reason for any of that to sit in somebody else’s logs. The editor renders to a canvas on your device. The only moment anything is sent anywhere is the payment, and the payment does not carry the design.
Questions
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, including the parts people assume will not: the curved ring text, the colour picker and the millimetre sizing all work on a touch screen. The editor is narrower on a phone, so the controls stack rather than sitting beside the preview.
Do I need an account?
Not to design or to download. An account is only for saving a stamp to a library so you can come back to it, and for the locked serial counter, which has to live somewhere that survives closing the tab.
