Every preview on this page carries a faint Estamplab watermark. Your own download does not: the editor renders your stamp again, clean, as a transparent PNG, an SVG or a PDF. See the full template library.
The question that brings most people back to a stamp maker is not how to make one, it is how to change the one they have. A registration number changes. An address changes. The finance team decides the received stamp should be blue rather than red because red photocopies badly. With a rubber stamp all of those mean ordering a new die. Here they are an edit, which is most of the argument for a stamp being a file in the first place.
What you get
- The ink colour, from a set of realistic stamp inks or any colour you pick.
- The wording, on the ring, through the middle or in the small print.
- The size, the border weight, and how worn the impression looks.
- The date, the serial number and whether either of them appears at all.
- Saved stamps keep their history, so last year version is still there if you need it.
How to make it
- Open the stamp maker and pick a shape, or start from a template.
- Type your wording, then set the colour, border and size.
- Add the date, time, serial number or logo, and position each one.
- Preview it live, then download. Designing and previewing are free.
Questions
How do I change the colour of my stamp?
Open the stamp and pick a new ink colour. The whole design redraws in it, including the border and any date or serial, so nothing is left in the old colour by accident.
What colour should a stamp be?
Blue and black survive photocopying and faxing, which is why most official stamps use them. Red is for anything meant to stop somebody: VOID, CONFIDENTIAL, URGENT. Purple and green read as informal.
Can I edit a stamp I made before?
If it is saved in your library, yes: open it, change what you need and download the new version. Without an account there is nothing stored to reopen, so the design would have to be made again.
Can I change the date on a stamp?
The date can be set to fill itself in with the day you use it, or fixed to a specific date, or turned off. It is written into the stamp before it is applied rather than typed on top afterwards.
Will editing change stamps I already used?
No. A stamp already applied to a document is part of that document. Editing changes what future copies look like.
How to change the colour of a stamp?
Open the stamp and choose a new ink. The whole design redraws in it, border, date and serial included, so nothing is left behind in the old colour.
