School principal stamp maker

A school principal stamp maker for evaluation, approval and signature stamps: school name, principal title, and a date that fills itself in.

Open the stamp maker

A principal signs a great many things that are not contracts: report cards, permission slips, attendance records, transfer certificates and evaluation forms. A stamp carrying the school name, the title and the date turns a stack of those into something that takes a minute rather than an afternoon, and it looks the same on every one.

Questions

Is a principal stamp official?

It identifies the school and the office rather than carrying force of its own. Where a document has to be certified for an external body, a university or an immigration authority for example, ask that body what it will accept before relying on a stamp.

Should a signature go on the stamp?

Only where the school is comfortable with it. A signature baked into a stamp can be applied by anyone holding the file, which is a governance question rather than a design one. Many schools keep the stamp to the school name and title, and sign separately.

Can it record the date automatically?

Yes. Leave the date field empty and it fills in on the day the stamp is used rather than showing the day it was designed.

Estamplab is a design tool. This page describes common commercial practice rather than giving legal, tax or financial advice, and practice changes. Where a specific document matters, check the requirement with the body receiving it.
