Chartered engineer stamp maker
A chartered engineer stamp maker for laying out a professional engineer seal: name, membership or registration number, and the institution or jurisdiction.
Engineering titles are protected differently around the world, and the stamp follows the title. A chartered engineer in one country carries an institution membership number; a professional engineer in another carries a state registration. The layout is much the same, a ring naming the body and a middle carrying the name and number, and this builds either.
What you get
- Ring text for the institution or jurisdiction, with the designation set around the bottom.
- Membership, charter or registration number as a separate line, kept legible at seal size.
- Round, oval and square forms, since practice differs by country rather than by preference.
- The date can fill itself in on use, for a review stamp that has to record when it was checked.
- Transparent PNG, SVG and a print-ready file, so the same design serves a PDF and a physical die.
How to make it
- Open the stamp maker and pick a shape, or start from a template.
- Type your wording, then set the colour, border and size.
- Add the date, time, serial number or logo, and position each one.
- Preview it live, then download. Designing and previewing are free.
Questions
Chartered engineer or professional engineer?
They are different systems. A chartered title is normally conferred by a professional institution; a professional engineer licence is normally issued by a state or provincial body. The wording on your stamp should match whichever actually applies to you, and that body sets what is required.
Can I put my institution logo on it?
Only if the institution permits it. Many treat their mark as controlled, so check before using one. The tool can place a logo, but whether you are entitled to use a particular one is not a question it can answer.
Does a validation or review stamp need a date?
Usually yes, and it should be the date of the review rather than the date the stamp was designed. Leave the date field empty and it fills in when the stamp is used.
Estamplab is a design tool. This page describes common commercial practice rather than giving legal, tax or financial advice, and practice changes. Where a specific document matters, check the requirement with the body receiving it.
