Every preview on this page carries a faint Estamplab watermark. Your own download does not: the editor renders your stamp again, clean, as a transparent PNG, an SVG or a PDF. See the full template library.

A medical seal is checked, not admired. Whoever receives the document, a pharmacy, an insurer, an employer, a court, is looking for the practitioner name, the qualification and the registration number, and they are looking for them because that is what can be verified against a register. The design conventions matter less than getting those three things exactly as they appear on the register.

Questions

What goes on a doctor stamp?

The name, the qualification, and the registration or licence number. Many places also expect the practice name and address. Copy the register entry exactly: a number that does not match is the thing that gets a document queried.

Can a medical certificate be stamped digitally?

Many systems accept a digitally stamped and signed document, and many now require an electronic prescribing system for prescriptions specifically. What is acceptable is set by the regulator, the insurer or the health system rather than by the stamp, so check before relying on it.

Is a practitioner stamp a signature?

No. The stamp identifies the practitioner; the signature is the practitioner signing. Documents that need both should carry both, which is why the signature and the seal usually sit together.

What about nurses, dentists and allied professionals?

Same structure, different register: name, qualification, and the number held by whichever council or board registers you.

Estamplab is a design tool. This page describes common commercial practice rather than giving legal, tax or financial advice, and practice changes. Where a specific document matters, check the requirement with the body receiving it. Only produce a mark your own organisation or your own credentials are entitled to use.
