Frequently asked questions

What does "editable" actually mean here?

Two things, and most templates only offer the first. Before download, every element is a control rather than a shape you nudge: type the ring text and it re-curves to fit, change the shape and the layout re-flows. After download, the Word file keeps the date, the time and the serial as live text boxes grouped with the artwork, so you click into them and retype. The PNG, JPG, SVG and PDF cannot do that, because those formats have no text to edit, which is why the pack includes all of them.

Are the templates really free?

Designing is free with no account, and you can edit and preview as long as you like. Downloading is where you pay, $1.50 once for a stamp, or nothing at all on a paid plan. Nothing is watermarked in the editor except the preview image itself, which stops a right-click "save image as" from lifting a finished stamp.

Can I edit the template after I have downloaded it?

Yes, in two senses. The Word file lets you retype the date, time and serial in place. And the design itself stays in your stamp library, so you can re-open it, change the wording or the colour, and download again, which a physical rubber stamp cannot do at all once the block is cut.

Can I start from my own logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG or SVG logo, or pick a built-in emblem, then move, scale, rotate and set its opacity. The rest of the template stays intact around it.

Is the stamp maker free?

Do I need to install an app?

No. Everything runs in your browser on desktop or mobile, no app, plugin or download required. Your stamp is generated as a crisp, transparent image you can drop onto any PDF.

Can I put the stamp on a PDF?

Yes. Download it as a transparent PNG or an SVG and place it in any PDF editor, or take the PDF version and put it on a page directly. The transparent background means the text underneath still shows through around the seal.

Can each stamp carry its own number?

Save a stamp to your library and it gets its own serial counter. Tick "Number this one" when you download and that file takes the next number in the sequence, incremented under a row lock, so two tabs or two devices can never be handed the same one.
