Frequently asked questions

Is the specimen stamp free?

You can design a specimen stamp and look at it as long as you want without paying or signing up. Downloading costs $1.50 for a PNG or JPG, or $4.50 for the pack with the vector and document formats in it.

Can I add a date to the specimen stamp?

Yes, and you can add a time beside it. On a specimen stamp the date can either be one you type, which stays fixed, or left blank so it resolves at the moment of each download.

What format do I get?

Images on their own: transparent PNG, white PNG, JPG, and high-resolution versions of each. The pack adds the SVG, the print PDF and the Word file where the date and serial stay editable text.

Why mark a document SPECIMEN?

Because a filled-in example is indistinguishable from a real one at a glance, and examples escape. A SPECIMEN mark across the face makes the document unusable as the real thing, which is the point of it.
