A worksheet has no pages in it. It is a grid that only becomes pages when it is printed, and where the breaks fall depends on the column widths, the print area and the scaling. That is why most tools tell you to export to PDF first, and it is why this one lays the sheet out the way Excel prints it before you place anything: the paper size, the orientation, the margins and the repeated heading rows all come out of your file. You place the chop on a real page, and the page you place it on is the page that comes back.

Questions
Do I have to export to PDF first?
No. That was the old advice and it meant opening Excel, which is the thing most people are trying to avoid. Upload the .xlsx and the sheet is laid out as printed pages here.
Where exactly does the chop land?
Where you put it. The page on screen is the printed page: same paper size, same orientation, same margins, same scaling to fit the width. What you see is what the recipient opens.
Can I still have it as a PDF?
Yes, and for a spreadsheet going outside the company it is usually the better one. Both formats are on the download, so pick whichever the recipient wants.
Is the chop still editable in the file I get back?
No. It is part of the page rather than a picture sitting on it, so nobody can drag it off or lift it out to reuse on their own documents.
What happens to the formulas?
The stamped copy is a finished document, not a working model, so the cells and formulas are not in it. Keep your original for the working version: it is untouched.
Which parts of the sheet are not drawn?
Charts, pictures, shapes and pivot tables. A spreadsheet that is mostly a chart will come out as its numbers, so export that one to PDF and stamp the PDF instead.
Can I stamp several sheets at once?
Every sheet in the workbook is laid out, so a workbook of monthly statements comes through as pages you can stamp one after another. For a recurring batch, the bulk service handles the whole run.
