A monogram stamp is the one kind of stamp nobody needs and plenty of people want, and the design rules are the opposite of an office stamp. Here the mark is decorative, so the type can be light, the border can be fine, and the colour can be anything. The one thing it still has to survive is being printed small on card, which is why the strokes cannot be too thin.

Questions
How is a monogram arranged?
The traditional arrangement puts the surname initial in the middle and larger, with the first name to its left and the middle name to its right. A couple monogram often puts the shared surname in the middle with both first initials either side.
What size should a wedding stamp be?
Around 25 to 40mm. Small enough to sit on a place card or a favour tag, large enough that a fine border does not disappear when printed.
Can I use it on packaging for a small business?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses: a monogram or logo stamp on tissue paper, boxes and thank you cards is what makes a small order look considered.
Can I add a date to a gift stamp?
Yes, either fixed to the day of the event or set to fill itself in, which is what you want on a stamp used on packing slips all year.
