Inserting a company stamp in Word is a two-part problem, and most guides only solve the easy half. The easy half is getting the picture in. The hard half is that Word treats it as a character in a paragraph, so it lands on its own line and shoves the signature block down the page. The fix inside Word is a wrap setting most people have to look up every time. The fix here is that the stamp is placed onto the page, not typed into the text.

Questions
How do I stop the stamp moving my text?
In Word you set the picture wrap to In Front of Text and drag it into place. Doing it here skips that entirely: the stamp goes onto the page rather than into the paragraph, so the text does not move at all.
What should a company stamp in Word contain?
The registered company name, the town of the registered office, and the registration or tax number your country uses. Bank details do not belong on it, because they change more often than the stamp does.
Can I still edit the document after stamping?
The stamped copy is final by design, because that is what stops the stamp being dragged out and reused. The original file you uploaded is untouched, so edit that and stamp it again.
Does it work with Google Docs?
Download the document as .docx from Google Docs and upload that. The result is a .docx you can upload back to Drive.
Can I add a signature as well as the stamp?
Yes. Place the signature and the stamp as two separate marks, the way they sit on paper, with the stamp overlapping the corner of the signature.
