How big should the stamp be in Word?

If Word has guessed and made it huge, right-click, Size and Position, tick Lock aspect ratio and set the height to 2.2 inches. Dragging a corner handle keeps the proportions too; dragging a side handle does not, and a squashed circle is obvious.
How do I put the stamp on every page?
Insert it into the header rather than the body. Double-click the top margin to open the header, insert the stamp there, set its wrapping and drag it where it belongs, then double-click back into the body. Word repeats the header on every page, so the stamp repeats with it, and it stays put when the text reflows.

A floating image is anchored to a paragraph, and it travels when that paragraph does. Click the stamp, open Layout Options, and either anchor it to a paragraph that will not move or tick Fix position on page. The anchor marker in the margin shows which paragraph currently owns it.
Is it different on a Mac?
The steps are the same and the menus are named the same, Insert, Pictures, Wrap Text. The one difference worth knowing is that Word for Mac puts Size and Position under Format Picture in the right-click menu rather than in its own dialog. Everything about the files is identical, they are ordinary .docx and .png.
