Why does my stamp push the text down in Word?
Word inserts pictures "In Line With Text" by default, which treats the image as a very large character inside the paragraph, so everything after it moves down. Right-click the image, choose Wrap Text, then In Front of Text and it stops displacing anything. The Word download here already has that setting applied, so the step is unnecessary.
How do I stop the white box behind my stamp?
Use a transparent PNG rather than a JPG, JPEG has no transparency at all, so every non-ink pixel is stored as actual white. Our PNG and Word downloads are genuinely transparent, so body text reads straight through the seal. The white-background PNG is offered separately for slides and email signatures where transparency is not wanted.
Can I change the date on the stamp later?
Yes, on the Word download. The artwork is an image but a centre date is real, editable text grouped with it, click once to move the whole stamp, click again into the date to retype it. A date that curves around the rim stays part of the artwork, because a text box cannot bend along a circle.
Can I copy the stamp into a document I am already writing?
Yes. The artwork and the date are one grouped object, so copying takes both. Extract the download first, opening a Word file from inside a zip hands it to Word from a read-only folder, where nothing can be selected or copied.
