An inspection stamp template is built to be recognised rather than read, a short word, a strong border and room for an inspector number and a batch or date field.
On a production floor the mark has to be identifiable at a glance and traceable afterwards, which is why so many of these are short words in a strong frame with a number on them. The serial field is the useful part: a batch or inspector number ties an impression to a specific check rather than to a general one.

What goes on a quality control stamp?
The status word, an inspector or station number, and usually a date. The number is what makes the mark traceable back to a person and a shift, which is the whole point of it.
Can these stamps carry a batch number?
Yes. A serial field increments on its own for signed-in accounts, so consecutive impressions carry consecutive numbers without anybody tracking them by hand.
Why are inspection stamps often triangular?
A triangle is recognisable across a room and holds very little text, which suits a mark whose job is to be spotted rather than read. Three short lines is the realistic maximum.
