Shipping, courier and logistics stamp templates

A logistics stamp template records a handover, shipped, delivered, received, with the date and often a consignment number, which is what makes a delivery traceable afterwards.

Every one of these marks a moment when responsibility for goods changed hands, so the date is not optional and the number is what lets you find the movement again. Goods received marks in particular are the difference between a dispute and a dated entry.

Questions

What goes on a goods received stamp?

The words, the date, and usually a space for a signature and a consignment or order number. The date is the part that settles disputes.

Can I add a consignment number that increments?

Yes. A serial field increments on its own on a signed-in account, so consecutive receipts carry consecutive numbers.

Can I stamp a delivery note on a phone?

Yes. The stamp downloads as a transparent PNG and goes into a document on a phone the same as on a desktop, which suits work done away from a desk.

What colour should a shipping stamp be?

Red or black for anything that must be spotted quickly, like FRAGILE or URGENT. Blue for routine received and delivered marks.
