Mexico moved most tax documentation to the CFDI electronic invoice, which is signed digitally and needs no stamp at all. What survives is the paper layer: forms, acknowledgements, delivery notes and correspondence, where a sello carrying the name and RFC is the quick way to identify the business.

Questions

Is a company stamp required in Mexico?

No. Tax documentation runs on the CFDI electronic invoice, which is digitally signed and needs no stamp. The sello is a convention on paper forms, receipts and correspondence.

Is this the same as a sello digital?

No, and the distinction matters. A Certificado de Sello Digital is a cryptographic certificate issued by the SAT for signing electronic invoices. This makes a stamp image, which is a different thing entirely.

What goes on it?

The razón social and the RFC at minimum. Most also carry the address, and many add the phone number for documents handed to customers.
