Moroccan practice pairs the cachet with a signature, and the pair is what a counterparty or an administration looks for. Invoices, devis, bons de livraison and submissions all carry it, and paperwork arriving with a signature alone is commonly queried.

Questions

Is a cachet required in Morocco?

Not by statute, but commercial and administrative practice treats the stamp and the signature as a pair. Invoices and submissions carrying only a signature are frequently queried.

What is the ICE?

The Identifiant Commun de l’Entreprise, a fifteen-digit identifier shared across the tax, social security and commercial registries. It is now the main number counterparties check.

Which numbers belong on it?

The ICE and the RC at minimum. Many stamps also carry the IF and the CNSS number, particularly where the same stamp is used for invoicing and for social filings.
