Seal stamp, stamp seal, or just a seal: what people mean

Seal stamp and stamp seal are two of the vaguest phrases in this whole subject, and both get searched constantly. They are typed by people wanting at least four different objects, which is why the results are such a mess. Working out which one you mean takes about a paragraph, and saves ordering the wrong thing.
The four things people mean
A company seal. A round mark carrying the registered name and number of an organisation, pressed on invoices, contracts and letters to show which company issued them. If the phrase came up in a business or banking conversation, this is almost always it.
A rubber stamp. Any inked mark at all: PAID, RECEIVED, a date, an address. Here seal is being used loosely as a synonym for stamp, which is common and perfectly reasonable in ordinary speech.
A wax seal. The blob of wax on an envelope or a certificate, pressed with a brass die. Decorative now, occasionally still formal, and a completely different purchase.
A mechanical seal. A rubber gasket, in a pump or a door. Nothing to do with documents, and a real share of searches for rubber seal are people looking for exactly this.
How to tell which one you want
Ask what the mark is for.
If it identifies an organisation on paperwork, you want a company seal or company stamp. That is the round one with the name curved around the ring.
If it records an action on a document, paid, received, approved, checked, you want a rubber stamp, and calling it a seal will get you round designs when you probably want a rectangle.
If it closes something, an envelope or a certificate, you want a wax seal and a wax kit.
If it keeps water or air out of something, you are in the wrong part of the internet entirely, and this page cannot help.
Why the phrasing matters when you search
The word order changes what you get. Stamp seal tends to return company seals and wax seals. Seal stamp tends to return rubber stamps and self-inking blocks. Neither is a rule and both are noisy, which is worth knowing before concluding that the thing you want does not exist.

The one distinction with consequences
Between the company seal and the everyday stamp there is a difference that occasionally matters legally, and it is worth keeping straight even though most people use the words interchangeably.
A common seal, in the company law sense, is a specific instrument some jurisdictions recognise for executing deeds. A company stamp is a mark identifying who issued a document, with no formal status at all. In most common law countries the first has been optional for decades, so in practice both are doing the same job: telling a reader where the document came from.
Where it still bites is a document with a formality attached to it, a deed, a share certificate, a filing at a registry. There the requirement comes from the registry or the statute, and it will say which one it means. Anywhere else, the mark is evidence rather than a formality, and what it is called does not change what it proves.
Making whichever one you meant
A round company seal, a rectangular office stamp, a notary seal, a dated received mark: all of them start from the same editor here, sized in real millimetres so what you approve is what lands on the page.
