Not every stamp is a company seal. The most ordered stamps in the world go on envelopes, wedding invitations and the inside covers of books, and most of the people ordering them have never thought about ring text in their lives.

The return address stamp
The one people buy first. A return address stamp turns the tedious part of posting anything into one press, and for a small business sending parcels it is the difference between an evening of handwriting and ten minutes.
Three or four lines: name or business, street, town and postcode, sometimes a country. The design decision that matters is width, because it has to fit the back of an envelope or the top of a return label without wrapping. Around 55mm by 22mm is the shape that suits both.
A monogram address stamp puts initials or a small emblem beside the lines, which is the version people choose for personal post rather than parcels.
Wedding and event stamps
A wedding stamp is a monogram, two initials and a date, and it goes on invitations, envelopes, favours and the rest of the event stationery. The whole point is that one design repeats across everything, which is exactly what a stamp is good at and what hand-addressing is not.
Two practical notes. Keep it simple: at the size an invitation stamp is actually pressed, thin script and fine flourishes disappear, and what survives is a bold monogram and a clean ring. And if it is going onto printed stationery rather than pressed onto paper, take the vector file, because that is what a print finisher needs for foil or embossing.
Library seals and bookplates
A library seal marks ownership on the inside cover, and it is one of the oldest uses of a stamp there is. A school library, a collection, an archive or a personal shelf all use the same form: the owner's name curved around a ring, sometimes a year, sometimes a small emblem.
An ex libris stamp or bookplate is the personal version, usually a monogram or a small illustration with the owner's name. Two things matter: it should be small, because it sits inside a cover rather than on a page, and the ink should be one that does not bleed through thin paper.
An accession stamp with a number is the version an actual library uses, and there the number needs to increment rather than be drawn in.

Teacher and name stamps
A teacher stamp is a marking tool: Seen, Well done, Please correct, or a dated Received for handed-in work. The dated one is the useful one, because the argument three weeks later is about when something was handed in.
A name stamp on books, kit and lunch boxes is the reason half the stamp shops in the world stay open in September.
What is different about making these as files
Honestly, less than for a company seal, because these are stamps that mostly meet paper.
Where it does help: designing it free and at full size before you spend anything, which matters more for a wedding monogram than for a RECEIVED stamp, because you will look at that monogram on two hundred envelopes. And the vector file is what you hand a stamp shop to have a physical block cut, or a print finisher to have it foiled, so designing here and ordering there is a sensible order to do things in.
Where the file is the whole answer: a school sending letters as PDFs, a small business emailing invoices, an archive cataloguing digitally.
