A portable company stamp
A physical seal lives in an office, usually in a drawer, usually behind one person's key. That is fine right up until the moment the document that needs stamping is in front of you and the drawer is forty minutes away, which is most of the moments that matter: at a client's table, at a site, in an airport, at home on a Sunday before a Monday deadline.
A portable company stamp is the same mark held as a file. It is on the laptop, on the phone, in the browser, wherever you signed in last. A portable company seal for a company with three branches means three branches pressing an identical mark instead of two branches that cannot stamp anything and one that can.
There is a second kind of portability that people notice later: it moves between formats as well as between places. One download carries a transparent PNG for PDFs, an SVG for a printer, a PDF, and a Word file where the date stays as text. The same stamp works on a contract, on a letterhead going to print, and on a Word template somebody in another office maintains.
An editable company stamp
Now the more expensive one.
A company changes its registered address. Or its name after a restructure. Or adds a registration number it did not have when the block was cut. Or a director leaves and the signature block is wrong. With a rubber stamp, every one of those means artwork, an order, a wait, and a period where the only stamp you own says something untrue.
An editable stamp is a design rather than an object. Open it, change the line, download it again. The wording, the ring text, the colour, the size, the logo, the date behaviour: all still adjustable, because none of it was ever flattened into a picture. Coming back a year later and changing one line costs nothing.
This is also what makes a template useful rather than decorative. A template you cannot take apart is a picture of somebody else's stamp. Every one of the 225 stamp templates here opens in the editor with each line still text, still movable, still yours to rewrite.

What you give up
Honesty first: a file is not a physical stamp and does not replace one everywhere.
If somebody is going to physically hold your paper, a counter clerk, a registry that requires a stamped hard copy, a customer taking a handwritten receipt, you want a block, and you should get one cut. The vector file here is exactly what a stamp shop asks for as artwork, so the two are not in competition: design it once, use the file for the PDFs and hand the same design to a carver for the counter.
What you should not do is print a document purely so that you can stamp it and scan it back in. That is three steps to reach where you already were, and it produces a worse document than the one you started with.

What is a portable company stamp?

Our registered address changed. Do I need a new stamp?
If it is on the stamp, yes, the stamp is now wrong. With a file that is one line and a fresh download on the same afternoon. With a carved block it is a new order, a wait, and a gap during which your only seal states an address you have left.
Do I still need a physical rubber stamp as well?
If anybody physically handles your paper, yes. Hand a stamp shop the vector file from the download pack, which is what they want as artwork anyway, and you get a block that matches the file exactly.
